Classification and composition of pressure sensitive adhesive.

Pressure-sensitive adhesive is a kind of adhesive that can be temporarily bonded by slightly applying pressure. Pressure sensitive adhesive is a kind of adhesive that makes adhesive tape. It is divided into solvent activation type, heating type and pressure sensitive type. Among them, the use of pressure sensitive type is the most convenient and the development is rapid.

 


(I) Classification of pressure sensitive adhesives
Pressure sensitive adhesive can be divided into rubber type pressure sensitive adhesive and resin type pressure sensitive adhesive according to its type of adhesive. Rubber type pressure sensitive adhesive is made of rubber as a adhesive, and is composed of adhesives, fillers, and antiaging agents. According to the type of rubber, it can be divided into natural rubber, polyisobutene rubber, butadiene rubber pressure sensitizer and other categories. The adhesive of the resin type pressure sensitive adhesive is synthetic resin, including homogeneous polyresin and copolymerization resin. When preparing the pressure sensitive adhesive, it is necessary to add adhesives, softeners, fillers and antiaging agents. According to the resin types, it can be divided into polyolefins, chlorovinegar copolymers, acrylic resins, organosilicon and fluorine resin compression sensitizers.
Composition of pressure sensitive adhesive
In addition to the adhesive in the pressure sensitive adhesive, but also the addition of adhesives and other auxiliary substances.
1. The adhesive of the adhesive pressure sensitizer is a material such as rubber or synthetic resin. Its role is to give the adhesive layer sufficient cohesion strength and adhesion relay, the amount of 30 % -50 %.
2. Adhesive. Adhesives include Rosin and its derivatives, petroleum resins, etc., whose role is to increase the adhesion of the adhesive layer. Its dosage is 20 % -40 %.
3. Plasticizer. The plasticizer used is a plasticizer used in general plastic processing, and its role is to increase the fast viscosity of the rubber layer. Its dosage is 0-10 %.
4. Antiaging agents. General rubber, plastic anti-aging agents are available, the role is to improve the service life, the dosage is 0-2 %.
5. Filling. The fillers used are general plastic fillers that increase the cohesive strength of the rubber layer and reduce costs. The dosage is 0-40 %. In addition, for some pressure sensitive adhesives, viscosity regulators, vulcanizers and solvents need to be added.
