For large Transformers requiring heat resistance, aromatic polyamides and glass tape should be used, as well as polyimide, polytetrafluoroethylene or silicone impregnated glass tape. In order to improve the electrical insulation performance of Transformers, the vacuum impregnation treatment of insulating paint is generally carried out. At this time, the pressure-sensitive tape must be resistant to the impregnation of insulating paint.
2. Welding masking and surface protection. In the connection section of the printed circuit board, electroplating process must be carried out to improve the contact performance. The masking tape is generally used for high strength thin paper, wrinkled paper or polyester film as a substrate. Requirements for easy stripping, pressure sensitive glue should not remain while contaminating the protective surface. Semiconductor and integrated circuit silicon chips also use protective film.
3. Cluster fixation. The cluster and terminal treatment of electromagnetic coils such as deflection coils and demagnetizing coils of TV sets mostly use flame retardant PVC tape.
