Technical specifications for off-type paper.
Industry news / 2018-08-07

The technical indicators of off-type paper are as follows: dry Silicon coating amount, room temperature stripping force, aging stripping force and residual adhesion rate. The amount of dry Silicon coating refers to the amount of coating on the material of the off-type agent in grams per square meter. Generally, the amount of coating for the solvent type Silicon oil is from 0.30 to 0.80 grams per square meter, and the amount of coating for the insoluble type Silicon oil is from 0.80 to 1.30 grams per square meter. Professional testing equipment is required to test the amount of coating. The amount of Silicon oil coating directly affects the stripping performance. The higher amount of coating, can closely cover the original paper, ensure the uniform distribution of Silicon oil. The lower amount of Silicon oil coating, is prone to leakage coating and other phenomena, resulting in poor stripping. Some off-type coating suppliers to reduce the amount of Silicon oil coating, resulting in stripping emphasis, the production of heavy off-type paper, in use is quite risky. The reliable manufacturer can adjust the stripping force by adjusting the chemical formula without reducing the amount of Silicon oil coating. It takes a long time for technology to accumulate, not overnight.

Normal temperature stripping force, at room temperature through the standard test method to obtain the stripping force data, the unit is N/25mm, can be converted to how many grams. General 0.10 N/25 mm, that is, the stripping force of less than 10 grams, commonly known as light stripping; 0.20 N/25 mm, that is, the stripping force of less than 20 grams, commonly known as medium stripping; 0.35 ~ 0.45 N/25 mm, that is, 35 ~ 45 grams of stripping force, commonly known as re-stripping; 0.60 ~ 0.80 N/25 mm, IE 60 ~ 80 grams of stripping force, commonly known as heavy stripping; Of course, there are also 0.03 ~ 0.04 N/25 mm, that is, 3 ~ 4 grams of stripping force, commonly known as light stripping; There is also 1.00 N/25 mm, that is, more than 100 grams of stripping power, commonly known as overweight stripping.

The aging stripping force, after the aging of the stripping force measured data, is generally slightly larger than the normal temperature stripping force. The residual adhesion rate refers to the force of the off-type paper after the first stripping and the second stripping. The calculated data mainly reflects the effect of Silicon curing. The residual adhesion rate of UV cured Silicon oil is generally 100 %, and the residual adhesion rate of heat-cured Silicon oil is up to 90 %. A few suppliers are suspicious if they claim to have a 100 % residual adhesion rate to their off-type paper. If such a situation occurs, the residual adhesion rate of this off-type paper is generally not higher than 70 %. The testing of off-type paper technical specifications is a very complicated project. General electronics factory, tape factory can only test the latter few data. As for the amount of Silicon oil coating, it generally does not appear in the technical report of the off-type coating supplier.
