First: adjust the thickness of the glue for double sided tape.
For example, the thickness of the original double-sided tape is about 60U or less, so we can adjust it to 80U or more, such as 100U, 130U, and so on. In this way, the adhesive tape will naturally become stronger after the thickness of the glue becomes thicker. This is because after the thickness of the glue is thickened, the viscosity of the glue increases because it becomes more sticky.
Second: adjust the double-sided tape.
For some customers, the temperature tolerance of double-sided tape is relatively large, and the environment often used is minus 10 to 20 degrees. Under this condition, we generally recommend that customers use oily double-sided tape. Because the oily double-sided tape glue itself has the ability to withstand high and low temperatures, that is, the viscosity of the double-sided tape of this component is not affected by the low temperature, and the adhesive of the tape is changed. This method may be slightly higher in cost than ordinary hot melt double-sided tape.
Third, do double-sided tape formula adjustment.
If in the above second, out of the cost considerations, we can advise customers in the hot melt double-sided tape to make some minor adjustments to enhance the double-sided tape adhesive. For example, if the summer formula of the double-sided tape is changed to be admired in winter, the adhesive of the double-sided tape is generally stable and reduces the impact of weather and temperature. Second, it should also be the most economical in terms of cost.
