There are two types of water pressure sensitive glue: aqueous solution and water emulsion. The former is the preparation of pressure sensitive glue with special requirements, the latter is the preparation of general pressure sensitive glue, and the emulsion type can produce a high concentration of glue.

They all have various advantages such as low cost, safety, and no public hazards. However, there are also disadvantages such as poor water resistance, poor electrical characteristics, long drying time, and large energy consumption.

The emulsion type pressure sensitive adhesive has natural rubber emulsion, polyisoprene rubber emulsion, polyisobutene emulsion and other rubber hydraulic emulsion. However, the main acrylic emulsion hydraulic sensitizer, which is mostly used to prepare adhesive labels and other products.
