Why is the duct tape black?
Adhesive Encyclopedia / 2018-07-27

We often use adhesive tape with transparent tape and conductive tape tape and so on, so why is the conductive tape black, it has other color specifications.

The black conductive tape is actually added to the ordinary conductive tape to add nickel-plated tin to turn it black. In fact, we can still see gray, but this is easy to leave spots and fingerprints during use. This would not be the case with the black tape. Therefore, the shielding performance is even better than that of other conductive tape tapes, and it can maintain color change and color loss at high temperatures.

When we use it, we should also pay attention to safety. We should also store this kind of tape in a dry and cool place, because high temperature or humidity will cause it to reduce its viscosity.
